NEW: Network Inventory Advisor 4.2
Today we are delighted to announce Network Inventory Advisor 4.2 with a ton of new features and usability improvements. Have a look at what we cooked in the new release:
- new: Autodesk products 2015 are license-audited
- new: Microsoft Office 2013 Click-to-Run editions now audited for licenses (unique feature)
- new: MS SQL Server 2008 R2 and 2012 Express now detected during license audit
- new: now you can remove all nodes that were never scanned within a few clicks
- new: detecting and displaying names and versions of Linux distributions
- new: Windows hotfixes are now listed with installation date
- new: Tabular reports now have a new data field – Local PC time when scanned (Local time)
- improved: detection of antivirus software on computers without Security Center
- improved: Network Inventory Advisor no longer joins several processors into one on multi-CPU systems
- improved: “Software by title” report now lists the major version for a software group instead of full version of one of the listed items
- improved: post-scan options now let you save the list of nodes that were not scanned
- improved: now collecting more details about Microsoft Office 2013 if it’s installed on Windows 8
- improved: hiding offline nodes in the reversed software report that displays the nodes where a specific software title is installed
- updated the database of supported antiviruses
- updated the database of shared templates for software audits
- fixed product key reading for Windows 8 x64 and Windows Server 2012 when scanned by WMI
- fixed product key reading for specific versions of MS SQL Server
- fixed: Microsoft Office Access 2007 Runtime was incorrectly detected as part of MS Office 2008 in license audit
- fixed: duplicate entries when detailed report is exported into SQL
